A Travel Consultation is a focused, one-to-one call with me, built around a single topic you want real depth on: where to stay in a city you're not sure about, restaurant recommendations for a group with dietary needs, whether your itinerary is trying to do too much.

I'm a research historian by training with over twenty years of on-the-ground experience across Ireland, Italy, and the UK. I don't give vague, hedge-everything advice. I tell you what I actually think.

This is a good fit if you:

• Have one topic you want real depth on, whether that's a single decision or a handful of related questions such as comparing two or three neighbourhoods.

• Want a sharp set of recommendations on one part of the trip such as dining, activities, or boutique hotels.

• Would rather spend thirty minutes with a real person than three hours down a Reddit rabbit hole

This probably isn't the right fit if you:

• Are looking for someone to research and build your trip from scratch - that's my curated travel service, which you can find out more about here

• Have several unrelated topics you want covered or a full itinerary you want reviewed and polished. That's a bigger job than thirty minutes allows, and will require either full planning or a few separate consultations.

• Haven't settled on a destination or rough dates yet. The more specific your focus, the more you'll get out of the call.
